This city was incorporated in 1999.  The main resident base is the community of Leisure World.

The City staff enjoys making regular updates to the site, posting agendas and other items of interest to its residents, businesses and visitors.  They also like being able to save City budget money by making the updates themselves.

Screen shot of the City of Hesperia's home pageWith an eye on spending the city's money wisely, the City of Hesperia wanted a way to manage their own content.  Originally, they had to submit everything to their webhosting company for posting.  This would result in delays of getting the content up and down. tmsPublisher fit their budget and needs.

A simplified look taking a more portal-like approach has pleased residents and businesses alike because of the ease with which they can find the information that is important to them.

Hesperia also had a need for a calendar that will also allow eventually allow them to take reservations for specific recreation classes.  It will also allow them to take online transactions for their permitting process.

Many of the 225+  clubs can now participate in adding content to keep the site lively and current.

The Police Department wanted to show off all of the advantages for going to work in law enforcement serving the communities of La Habra and Brea, California.  They had to compete with larger, more publicized cities and really focus on what sets them apart.

They were very familiar with the City of Brea's site and liked how frequently it was updated and how easy it was to change the look of the site periodically without having to change the content.
