Community of Laguna Woods Village, Laguna Woods, CA Leisure World, Laguna Woods is a premiere Active Adult Community.  The 18,500+ residents are over age 55 with an average age of 72.  Even though the community was first opened in 1965, it has continued to evolve with the changing demands of its residents, the advances in technology and social interests. Leisure World, Laguna Woods has over 200 clubs, including a computer club with over 7,500 members. This increasing interest in technology has also added to the resident's interests to have input and participate in their community's website. After several evolutions of a marketing website for the community, it has taken a new direction.  Not only can the world learn about active seniors in Southern California and the US, but the residents can help to control the content of their website so that the information they most frequently seek is at their fingertips. Commpro has developed training materials for the various contributing groups - tailored to their specific needs.  Commpro has worked closely with the IT Department at PCM (the property management firm who oversees the community) as well as the governing bodies and boards, to incorporate existing scheduling software already in use to the community calendar and news.
